This is Lake Agnes with Mount Whyte in the background. This glacial lake is located beside and above Lake Louise, Banff National Park. There is a Tea House located at the lake which can get inundated with hikers especially during peak summer months, nonetheless, it's still a great place to visit with stunning views of the surrounding mountains! A Sony A77 and DT 16-105mm lens was used. Which do you prefer, B&W or Colour?

That is a beautiful place. How long do you have to hike to get there? I think the first photo looks amazing black and white.
You can reach the lake in under 2 hours, probably easy ~ moderate!

The first photo is best in b&w. The incredibly amazing shape of the landscape and the shades between black and white speak for themselves. This is a perfect photo with wow-effect!
The second photo - I don't know. I love the turquoise water. I just love this color in general.
