Around the Canadian Rockies in B&W and Colour

in #photography6 years ago

This is Mount Rundle, one of the most magnificent mountains in all of the Canadian Rockies. Elevation is 2,948m (9,672ft). It was named after Reverend Robert Rundle, a missionary from the the United Kingdom. A Sony A77 and DT 16-105mm lens was used. Which do you prefer, B&W or Colour?

I prefer the colour photos to the B/W, spatially the first one. Second image has a very good contrast for black and white, I like too.

Thanks @trueart!

Actually, would you mind if I use it as reference for a landscape study?

Hi!! I just posted about your photo I used, the progress, and the final painting. I felt the final result from your picture was the best, thanks so much for giving me permission to use it.
