This is my first time participating in a #bwphotocontest on Steemit.

Thank you to @daveks for organizing this black and white photography contest, with the theme 'animals'.

This is Reuben, an old kind-hearted brown labrador, sleeping by the mint. When Reuben came into my life, I was told he had a rough and lonely life. He shared his last nine months with me, soaking up every moment of attention and love, until he passed of old age.

Photo was taken with my Nikon D80.
