"I'm a poet and musician," he said, standing before the entrance to the cemetery of Recoleta. He said he plays only the songs he writes, yet proudly pitched me the sale of his CD, which contained the anthem of his home town.

Maybe his home town adopted one of his songs as their anthem? Inconsequential. All that mattered to me at the time, was that the man had charisma and talent.

I bought the CD.
