Winter Forest
Following up from my previous blog Snowy Landscapes I want to share some more atmospheric photos from my walk in Craig Phadrig forest, from sometime in last December. This time, instead of focusing on far away views, I want to show off the forest itself.
I love walking passed these boulders. @antonchanning and I nicknamed them troll stones. They look really beautiful in winter.
It's amazing to see snow covering every little branch along this path.
The western sky still shines with multiple colours and the view from the hill top is always spectacular.
Wind and snow managed to paint tree trunks of all these conifers. It makes them more visible at night.
Snow reflects so much light that you can see where you are going even after dark. Woods look very picturesque and a little spooky after dusk. I absolutely love the peace and quiet of the winter forest.
Thank you for looking and till the next time. :)
Impresionante estar en un clima tan bajo cero como ese, no podría durar tan solo 5 minutos por la costumbre de clima tropical. Me encantaría poder vivir una experiencia y conocer un lugar bajo cero.
snow snow snow ... your photos are awesome man i feel good when im watching this
Cheers! :)
