No, I do not know them personally. Those photos been shown every evening on out local TV3 channel, right after next day's weather forecast. Later on these also appear on the TV3 web page. I just thought this beauty should get a broader auditory, not only a quick show on 1 minute weather forecast program. Not many people in the world know what is Lithuania, and where it is. Maybe this way I put a tiny bit of more into it, somebody may even decide to come as tourist. Who knows.
Ah, is there a contest where the best viewers' photos are shown on TV, or are they all pictures taken by professional photographers?
Not really a contest. Just regular people, amateurs and photo hobyists are mailing their shots to TV3, and they show the most outstanding ones. I imagine they get hundreds and thousands of photos.
