I'm very pleased to announce that @caspady is the winner of the first Cryptogee Photomash competition! 10 SBD has been sent confirming the winner.

CONGRATULATIONS @CASPADY!!

@caspady's entry was one of only three, however I have a feeling it would have taken a lot more entries to come close.

Most of all what we liked was the fact it was done on a mobile phone, using Picarts!

So onto the next one, this week's challenge is to create the most vibrant and stunning hair fire picture, as shown in my tutorial below.

Prize Fund

The prize is 10 Steem Backed Dollars (SBD), which as you are probably aware, are currently worth around $10 for each one, so at the time of writing, the prize fund is almost equivalent to $100 USD!!.

Judges

The judges will be myself, the illustrious @bleepcoin, and my learned friend @cryptocreative.

Rules

Each entry must be in the form of a post and have Cryptogee Photomash Fire Hair Challenge as part of the title.

Comments to this post will not count as entries, although links to qualifying posts are welcome.

Each qualifying post must use the tag cryptogee-photomash (failure to do this may cause the judges to miss your entries, thus invalidating them from the competition).

Each entrant must help spread the word by voting and resteeming this post.

Qualifying entries must be in the hair fire style.

Entries must be original own work, can be done on any software and a screenshot of the layer file must accompany your entries.

Payout

There is one first prize of 10 SBD which will be paid out to the winner within 24 hours of payout on this post.

In the event that there is only one entrant (a distinct possibility) the entrant will win by default.

Entry Deadline

Deadline for entry is 48 hours before payout on this post.

Judges decision is final on all matters.

GOOD LUCK!!

Remember to check out Fire Hair Effect - Pixlr Video Tutorial to find out how to do the effect if you want to learn and enter.

Congratulations @caspady
Checkout my profile and my might some interesting content

congratuletions @caspady

Gave it a go, even though I'm usually rubbish at this kind of fine-grained manipulation.

It's not exactly "pretty", and I'm not sure it qualifies (there's mention of using some 3D popup effect ? is this a remnant from the last competition or needed in this one too ?)

Here's my post, and here's the picture I used and the result:

It could use a bit of polishing.

I didn't apply any blur, as it made some of the mistakes I made much more prominent XS

Nice, yes sorry about the 3D popout bit, I meant to change that to Hair Fire Challenge :-), nice entry :-)

looks good man!

thanks :)
It's my first piece of digital art using a photoshop-esque tool.
I think the top part could have been more polished, though.

But I'm a bit busy atm.
We'll see what comes of it :)

Hi, before I make a post, does this photo stand the rules? the man was attached to the table picture (all photos used are commercially free to use) :

Yeah, as long as you did that fire effect yourself and you can prove it, then it's all good :-)
