The progress of two beautiful sunsets.
There is nothing more tranquil and beautiful than a bushveld sunset. The sun as artist can create the most amazing images in the sky. For me looking at the sky during sunrise and sunset feeds my soul and uplifts my spirit.
This beautiful view was taken on our 6 hour trip home from the coast, the car was moving while we tried to capture this breathtaking view covering the horizon, the movement created a mystical look.

Beautiful pictures! They gave a sense of tranquility and hope. The interplay of dark and light was stunning and nature at its best. Wouldn't it be great to wake up to this and/or retire for the evening to this? Sometimes we need to stop the chaos and take a breath and look at the beauty that surrounds us. Thank-you for sharing your wonderful photos!
I love how eloquent you are with words cabbagepatch, thank you. When I moved from the farm to the concrete jungle, I had to learn to look for things which brings me peace. Listening to the birds early in the morning, looking up to the horizon during sunrise and sunset, appreciating the different trees and flowers in the gardens are some of the things which makes my day brighter.
Gorgeous pictures. Nothing is quite as beautiful as the colors at sunrise and sunset, the Lord sure does make truly lovely things to look at. :D

Thank you arx27, I agree although where we go on holiday you only get a sunrise and not a sunset over the ocean. There are many times while driving that I wish I could find a spot to stop so I can capture what my eye see. Unfortunately you need to be quick to capture as the skies keeps changing constantly.
