Maxwell Point - Oregon Coast Photography

This is a pretty amazing place to visit, in Oregon. Pretty popular, too, you don't much get a beach to yourself unless you're okay with blasting cold and rain. On the other hand, went in the middle of January and basked in 60 degree windless weather, a rarity to say the least. THOSE DEMANDING 'UN-SHOPPED' PHOTOS WILL BE PELTED WITH SCALDING HOT SWAMP MUCK. I will, however, let you choose the swamp.

Barnacles! Or not, there's probably a better term out there. I'm probably not a Marine Biologist. Okay, I'm not a Marine Biologist. If you poke them, they move.

This next shot is a deluxe 8K VR format for the next level homies out there, because I love this crazy stuff. The 180 lens makes for a large scene, and lets you pan around. A unique artifact of getting a stereo pair 3D photo is the sun flare gets inverted. Peering around with the camera, it appears on top of the image, but when you take the parallel shot it steps backward in 3D, this is the difference between something appearing beyond the lens of the eye and something appearing behind the lens of the eye.
