Photographing Mantids / Secret Agents from a galaxy far far away
Found an epic Praying Mantis in my room. Sadly it was already dead so I propped her upgainst a stick and made her look like a secret agent alien from a distant world haha.
Live mantis are great to photograph. They will interact with you just like Jumping Spiders do. It is sad to see any life form with life but I makes nailing the focus easy peasy.
Like something out of Science Fiction. The beautiful Mantis. Exceptional example of evolution on Earth.

some of my favourite creatures and some of the best pets I've ever kept. they really did fall out of a tiny spaceship and went ah well it's nice here. plenty to eat.. just keep really still !
