Abandoned Nazi-Era Cabaret in Berlin / The Grand V.I.P Suite.

On the upper floors, we found a lavishly decorated suite of the highest grandeur. Who sat here smoking fine cigars and sipping whiskey? What rank were they? What badges did they wear? Were they ideological fascists, protecting themselves or perhaps foreign spies. It is easy to imagine this room was reserved for those of utmost importance.

We were exploring an abandoned Cabaret theatre on the outskirts of Berlin last year. I took lots of photographs, most of them were too dark to use seriously, but when enhanced via photoshop they revealed hidden details. This mini-series, which I'll be posting as individual images over the next few days are those enhanced images.

Although grainy and un-printable they are unique and beautiful in their own way.
