Our evening walk (After the rain)

It's been raining the whole night, heavy rain, thunder and lightnings. There was no sunshine after rain in the morning. After many days with temperatures above 30, finally the long awaited refreshment has arrived.

Today we didn't walk through the forest, since the soil was wet and muddy.

You could see the raindrops on the leaves and the flowers. The colors were calm and deep, as if nature was making a deep sigh of relief after the heat.

The uneven roads were full with many puddles.

In one of them we saw a snail, relaxing while taking a nice evening bath. There were many, many snails in the grass.

Unlike yesterday, the sky was fully covered with thick clouds. Instead of reflecting the light, objects were rather absorbing it, softly glowing from it.

We had a short rest at un unfinished house at a beautiful location.

A friendly peer tree gave us some snacks full of flavors.

There were also plenty of elderberries, which reminded me of my youth. We used to make lemonade out of them, a drink with an unforgettable aroma.

Then we passed by my old school (elementary), looked inside through the windows of the locked door. And for a moment I felt like a 10 years old kid again.
