Bighorn Sheep in Glacier National Park
First steemit post, so I'm starting with one of my favorite photos from Glacier National Park. Hoping to get the chance to share many more images from Montana, there's a good reason it's called The Last Best Place.
I shot this photo on Memorial Day weekend 2017 in Many Glacier, one of the most spectacular areas of the park. This lone ram was casually grazing around a rock bench, just above the Many Glacier Hotel, with Mount Gould in the background.
May is early season for the park, so there were very few people around, and he seemed pretty relaxed. It felt as though he knew where the photo opps were, and would stop at each one to pose for the camera. It was pretty awesome.

Amazing. So perfect it looks like a staged set.
Nice picture. Used to visit Glacier in the summer with my family growing up. I love it there.
