Eastern State Penitentiary - Part 2 - Corridors, Windows, Bars, Doors
In this post I'll share some miscellaneous photos to give you a feel for the architecture inside.
Except for a few small heated rooms meant for visitors to take a break and charge their phones, the ESP is not temperature controlled, so it pretty much maintains the outdoor temperature. It was just around freezing yesterday in Philly, so you definitely needed a jacket even inside! Luckily, they have a few large electric space heaters that you could huddle around.

Oh yes @cognoscere, even in this form the prison inspires certain feelings connected with imprisonment, it is very impressive!
