After spending most of the day exploring the island, we retreated up into the fortress to experience one of the most beautiful sunsets that I had ever seen.
Croatia is a place of mind bending beauty. We had taken the overnight ferry from Italy to Split, not knowing what awaited us. Upon waking we were welcomed with the sight of thousand foot granite peaks shooting straight out of the Adriatic Sea.
Croatia is a place that I would recommend to anyone. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world in my opinion.
