7 Day Cruise from Passau, Germany to Budapest, Hungary....Day One: Passau
Day One began with a walking tour of Passau exploring the Italianate-style streets taking in a pastel rainbow of building facades. Passau is notable for its gothic and baroque architecture. We spent some time in the court yard in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral. St.Stephen's is a true masterpiece of Italian Baroque, built by Italian architect Carlo Lurago and decorated in part by Carpoforo Tencalla. I'd like to share with you some of the photos I took that include general scenes of streets with their Baroque style buildings, court yards, and first photo showing an overview of the town:

There are many outdoor eating places in Passau, which is not unusual in European towns:
...and lastly, the famous Dachshund Museum, which is located in a small shop with all kinds of dachshund souvenirs...all collected by one family...enjoy for the dachshund lovers....like me! First, the owner of the souvenir shop and museum:
