Trekking in Iceland - Part #4 - Jökulsárlón
Just 2h on bus after Skaftafell, Jökulsárlón, a large glacial lake situated at the head of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier. Jökulsárlón developed into a lake after the glacier started receding from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. We stay here for 2h hours, watching the beauty f the ice, making a new friend, and then come back to Skaftafell.

Wow, these photos are amazing. I've only been to Iceland once and it was in the summer. I went to Isafjordur, it's the furthest north on the planet I have ever been to.
Thanks you !
I went to North Cap last year, i will have to post also my pics
That name rings a bell, I think I went there too. I remember seeing lots of wild orchids in Iceland, it was bizarre cause it was the last place I expected to find them.
I look forward to seeing more of your photos :)
I don't remember of orchids but it was some years ago...
See you !
