Beautiful Sunset Featuring the Oldest Tree in Columbia Mo
The tree in the photo is conveniently known by everyone in town as "The Big Tree". It stands at over 90 feet tall and has a spread of over 130 feet across! But the most impressive statistic about the big tree has to be its circumference which is 287 inches, thats over 12 feet around! Big tree is truly a spectacle to see and has protected its lonely spot next to the Missouri river for over 300 years! I always make the effort to see it whenever I'm in town and hope it stands for another 300 years.
