This pictures make me want to go to BANFF National Park even more. What a beautiful place on earth. Is it possible and allowed to climb there? The rockfaces look simply stunning!

oh ya, tons of great climbing areas in and around banff. Not sure about these wall at this lake, as it would all be traditional (which I don't do) but there were some 1000ft chimneys I sure wanted to go check out. The rockies here have a fair bit of slab and flacky stone so not known for the safest trad work though, but some great sport routes and walls around and nearby banff park. I'm still exploring the crags.
