PH: Churches & Chapels
I equally love architecture of churches and photography. It has become one of my favorite subjects in my photography.
Hi, steemians! This is again your favorite buddy @christianyocte. Now, you will be scanning through my compilation of church photography. All of these pictures are taken in my country. I hope you will make time to visit them and be fascinated by their forms, structure, history and the like as much as I do when I visited them.
Let's start! Are you ready?
A. The National Shrine of St. Joseph, Mandaue City, Cebu
This photo was taken when government employees were to gather in the municipal hall after a eucharistic celebration. I really like the simple and elegant facade of this structure.
This is another photo of the same church. The photo was taken after our Youth Ministry Meeting. The lights that outline the front of the church is a good motivation for the pass-by-men to be church goers.
B. Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, Cebu City.
Remeber that our ultimate goal is to go to heaven! So, find a great time to visit the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. I am certain that you will be delighted when you come here. Aside from the beautiful facade, the insides of the cathedral is grand and elegantly crafted. It also has a small park in front good for family pictures and perfect for children.

C. Sto. Tomas De Villanueva Parish, Danao City, Cebu
This old church has defeated many storms and earthquakes that happened many times in the past. It really symbolizes the strong faith of the Filipino people. So, don't miss this in your church-hopping someday.
D. San Carlos Seminary Chapel, Mabolo, Cebu City
I got an opportunity to visit this modern-touched chapel because I was told to take a picture of the chapel by our parish priest. He wants to get ideas on how our parish will be renovated. And boom! Our priest has a good taste in interior design.
E. San Antonio Padua Chapel, Tawason, Mandaue City
This photo was taken before the Simbang Gabi took place. The chapel is extravagantly dressed with Christmas lights and decorations. If you want to get enough Christmas-feels, you have to visit this place.
F. Nativity of Mary Parish, Canduman, Mandaue City
Of course, I wouldn't forget to brag our own parish where I do my service as a lector and a youth ministry leader. This place is my refuge when I am totally down. The values, discipline, and spirituality are gotten here. Thank you NMP!
G. Saints Peter & Paul Parish Church
My girlfriend brought me here. So, this is very special. But I am also blown by the picturesque and beauty of this church as well as the whole Bantayan Island.
H. Caleruega Church, Nasugbo Batangas
Although I have not gone inside this church, I know and certain that this has good interior because many people were inside. In fact, we were blocked of going in because it was already packed of people and no seats were available. However, I overheard the choir and it was just fantastic.
I. Manila Cathedral
Well, I purposely intended to end this with this church located in Manila. For me, this is the most beautiful church I have ever been to. I love how every part and every detail is done. I will surely visit this place again in the future. Please look the interior of this building in the next photo and be wowed!
