Lego for his 9th birthday
Those who are following my posts will know that my son had his 9th birthday just the other day. He had a Star Wars themed party too - but more on that in a future post 🎂😎
So, this little guy absolutely LOVES to build things! He used to build wooden blocks when he was a lot younger but has really come to like Lego a lot in the past 2 years or so...
Here’s one of his birthday presents he got from mom and dad. I had to snap a pic before he broke it all up and started building his own invention (as usual) 😉 This set is labelled ATV Race Team.
I still remember when he used to struggle to follow the instruction booklet on a really basic Lego set. I must admit - I was a little worried that his German blood was a little too diluted 😳😆
Well, he has progressed so much with his "Lego building skills" that it took him just over 10 minutes to build this set - with no errors! Admittedly, it is rated for ages 5 - 12, which I’d normally expect would be the right level for him. I guess it’s time to move him up a notch or two though 🤓
Hopefully I’ll get his party post up in the next few days - so keep an eye open for that...
