Monument to hospitality
State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia. The former House of Soviets. The building was built in 1938-1939 according to the design of IA Meerson. Initially, it housed the Regional Committee of the CPSU (B.), The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Mordovian ASSR and the Council of People's Commissars. In the 1950s, the interior was reconstructed according to the design of the architect S.O. Levkov and the sculptor M.I. Nefedova, the appearance of the building at that practically did not change.
The monument to V.I. To Lenin. Opened November 6, 1960 to the 43rd anniversary of the October Revolution. Authors: sculptor N.V. Tomsk, architect A.N. Dushkin.
