Half-timbered house
This not quite typical Samara house was found today in the old part of the city. More precisely, I knew about him for a long time, but did not get into the necessary area with a camera.
The architecture of this two-storey half-timbered house with a bay window and turret is typical for the countries of Northern Europe. Its design feature is a wooden frame, the pillars and inclined beams carry the entire load. The wooden frame is open, the picture of this frame looks dark against the background of light yellow painted walls. The fields formed by half-timbered houses are filled with bricks and plastered.
We know a little about him. Presumably built by the Germans who served in the house of attorney Grishfeld
Many of the older houses have such great character.
I agree. But unfortunately, because of the bad attitude to such houses, we have less and less of them.
That IS sad for all that beauty and history to be left to waste away. It will now at least have a photo that will survive into the future.
