Abandoned Dungeons: Part Two

in #photography6 years ago

A few more dungeons to you in the news line. Man-made caves in the Sokolikh mountains, Russia, Samara region, Krasnoglinsky district.

In the beginning of the last century limestone was mined there. But in the 60's, mining began to be conducted in an open manner, and a huge open pit was dug. The former once monolithic system was divided into several systems. The system that is pictured is one of the smallest. But in these galleries a certain number of trolleys were preserved, on which once the stone was taken to the surface.

Interestingly, in the galleries, the constant temperature is about 8 degrees Celsius.

Because of their inaccessibility, these galleries have been preserved in a less normal state - it is difficult to get to hunters for metal there, so some of the trolleys are in their places.

Небольшой совет - добавляйте свои места путешествий на карту, они тоже голосуют за посты. Только я толком не разбиралась как это делать, а вы сможете https://steemitworldmap.com/
