Art for all

"Art for All" in Seville is the name of a major project of the Indigo Incoming & Incentives organization, held between September 27 and October 11 this year in Seville.

Its main goal is to transform urban space through public art. This has happened with 35 artists from 25 countries and more than 50 local volunteers, thus giving a bright example of how to accelerate regional development in poor countries.

The project's activities included painting enormous frescoes (some over 100 meters) on the walls and walls of buildings and building street sculptures in one of the urban areas ("Polygono of St. Rablo"), famous for its cultural life.

Artists are united around the idea of ​​creating drawings and sculptures inspired by the eight UN Millennium Goals. Their messages promote socially relevant topics such as fair trade, corporate social responsibility, green initiatives, micro-credit, etc.

According to representatives of the local municipality, the project will contribute to the city's renewal and will help promote volunteering in Seville. Indigo Incoming & Incentives also said that "Art for All" will help create new jobs because, thanks to public art, the region will undergo transformation.

In addition to the shopping malls, a youth company was set up to look after tourists (1,000,000 people) who visit places with artwork.

The project is done thanks to the cooperation of the institutions and 12 private companies and representatives of the local business, providing financial assistance, transport, art materials, food, accommodation, etc.
