The Tulip fields in the Netherlands (Holland)
From March to mid-May, some areas of Holland are covered with multicolored tulips, offering you bike rides or unique views of the sky!
Mid-April is the ideal time to come and admire the tulips in full bloom.
The largest tulip fields are in the Noordoostpolder, in the province of Flevoland, and in particular the "Kop van Noord". This area, one hour from Amsterdam by car, has the largest area of bulbous flowers in Holland.
In the area of Bollenstreek, half an hour from Amsterdam by car, it houses the beautiful garden of Keukenhof. Open from March to May for spring, Keukenhof is a floral park with 800 different kinds of tulips.
Wow, lovely colours, great photos. I have been to Holland, enjoyed going there very much.
