Spotted Lake is an extra-terrestrial Canadian lake located in the Similkameen Valley northwest of Osoyoos, British Columbia.
Natural phenomenon very special, the Spotted Lake contains more minerals than water, which makes it possible to cross it on foot! In white mineral rings, large colored "tasks" appear in the summer after evaporation of water and are of different colors depending on the mineral composition. The minerals that form the rings are perfect natural walkways Between the spots.
Spotted Lake has always been a sacred place, considering that the waters of the lake would have therapeutic value. In addition, the Osoyoos Desert is home to plants and animals not found anywhere else in Canada. This desert is one of the hottest and driest corners of Canada.
