Beetles Life
Beetles are diverse group of insects in the environment.
Different studies have shown that beetles are by far the largest group of insects,that there are over 500,000 species of beetles throughout the world but unfortunately there is no complete list of known species.
The above statement alone makes me more fascinated about these group of insects and admittedly the fascination grow even bigger everytime I see them on their natural habitat on my quest to take photos to be able to enter the Combination Photography Contest.I happened to capture these green beetles at the nearby bushes,they were in numbers inhabiting the green leaves.
If success is measured by the numbers of species,beetles would definitely bagged the top spot,they are found where there is green vegetative foliage,on trees,flowers and even on decaying logs.
Over the years,some groups of beetles having bright and attractive colours where objects og fascination by some collectors who makes beetles into decorative displays and accessories.
