Views from Le Brévent, the high point above Chamonix
At 4,810m Le Brévent has some superb views of Mont Blanc, and some good warning signs
While Snowboarding a few years back I took these photos with my iPhone 6 Plus
It's the top of the world, and the views are breathtaking (along with the thin air)
I love the snow and the mountains, but prefer it when the sun is shining and it's relatively warm
I would not fancy trekking that ridge in a snowstorm!
It's a long way back down.
To get to the far side, you have to walk through this rather daunting ice tunnel.
With a super smooth inner surface

There is some amazing terrain in the French Alps, ski or snowboard you won't go far wrong spending a week or two in the mountains during winter.
Hills yeah!
Hills are wonderful, hills with snow on are EPIC!

This are soo AWESOME pictures! I really like the winter and when everything is covered with snow :)
Unfortunately here in Germany that's a rare thing to happen unless you live in higher placed regions :(

Thank you JuicyPop, I hope Django has recovered from his bath. We do not see much snow in the UK either, but I have been fortunate to travel to the mountains in previous years. I love the little animated gif footer you have too - and the picture of Django in it, almost looks like he is pleading me to read more of his stories ;-)
