I dedicate this abstract underwear art photography and specifically, these words describing said underwear photography, to my colleague @forexbrokr. @forexbrokr just loves my posts in the #photography tag, but he's asked me to do a short write up for these posts so he can gain further insight into my artistic brilliance and perhaps also one day himself become a professional photo blogger.

What I've done here is place a pair of my underwear in our old-style washing machine and lifted the lid to photograph them near the end of the spin cycle. I'm instantly attracted to the checkered luminescence exhibited by the boxer shorts as they spin round and round into blurry oblivion. This whirling crosshatch of blue tartan conjures up images of a fierce battle in the Scottish Highlands where @forexbrokr's red-haired ancestors no doubt once fought.
