Praying Mantis
Captured this little fellow on camera some time ago; he/she looks very devout, but also ready to take a swing at me... :-)

In the old, days the only way to study insects in depth was to grab them, put them in a killing jar and then examine the corpse. It's nice to have less destructive methods now.
OMG! He is sooo cute!! It seems like he is trying to deliver a message :)
