Over the last fifteen years, every time I meet new people (let alone know my psychology background) the questions addressed to me are almost always the same again.

Historically, psychology is actually rooted in the philosophy of human existence, beginning with the types of human personality, and how humans behave. As almost all of today's disciplines, the science of psychology at the beginning of its development still likes mixed-up concepts with many other things, especially non-empirical philosophy. As time passes, the science of psychology is increasingly separated by other concepts and becomes self-discipline that has clear definitions, indicators, and quantifiable benchmarks.

In short, the science of psychology can be interpreted as a science that studies the behavior and mental functions of human beings scientifically. In the process of development, the science of psychology experienced several phases along with the emergence of new theories that mutually correct, evaluate, and complement each other. Until finally, the science of psychology continues to see the "general pattern" to explain complex human behavior.

But, along with the development of psychology itself is perceived to need more data that support the empirical, can be tested, and can be criticized, the longer the flow of psychoanalysis increasingly plasticity to not empirik-annya.
