Haha. They are, aren't they? Alex is such a good boy and plays nicely.

He seems so happy! :)

He is a happy boy. He said to me the other day that he likes himself, which I think is particularly good for an autistic boy.

That is awesome that he feels that way. I did not know he was autistic. I work with people with disabilities, and I love it. I have had the pleasure of working with people with autism, and I must say I love their minds and how they operate, and I love their honesty, and how they say what they think and never beat around the bush. I love how it challenges me to think about what I'm going to say, and say what I mean. Sometimes in everyday language we speak in the abstract and just expect everyone to feel in the gaps the way our mind works. When you work with people with autism, it improves your communication skills.

Well, you'll be pleased to know that I'm high functioning myself - I've managed to get to this level through reflective learning :) I've also had great teachers in how to tune in to my emotions, and it's good that I have done because my emotions sensors are off the charts haha.

I knew you were autistic from one of your posts that I read, but I didn't know your son was. It is great that you had good teachers to help you emotionally! :)

Very good teachers might I add! Hopefully giving my son this, because I already can tell he is like me.

Yes, with your own experiences, you can help guide him. ;)
