He opened the door to his truck and stepped out on to the cold ground. He had always liked the snow. He felt it somehow made the world new again. But today he didn't have time for such thoughts. Gently he closed the door and reached into the bed of the truck for his shovel. He wondered if it was still there after all these years. Had it rotted away? Had someone taken it? There was only one way to find out....
