A week in Lithuanian countryside

I'm currently enjoying European summer at its best. We live in a small Lithuanian village with an unpronounceable name.
Our house stands on the outskirts and immediately beyond it begins a meadow and a lake behind it.

The village is surrounded by forest.

I spend hours on the veranda, breathing fragrant air.
Only sounds of nature around: rustle of leaves and the singing of birds.

An integral part of village psychotherapy is the cat, which superinduces an additional dimension in our stay here.

We pluck berries around the house and they are delicious and fragrant.

Being a photo-maniac obsessed by the light, I find a special pleasure in a fact that window opposing the dining table looks exactly west and in the evening a magic light flows from it.

Even when it was time to sit at the table, I could not put off the camera.
