You Know Its Hot When...
Oh yeah, the heat has started and is not summer yet! You see, when you live in a tropical island you're used to hot weather especially if you live at the Caribbean like me but that doesn't mean you will ever going to enjoy melting!
The temperatures are getting higher and higher and everyone is starting to sweat like piggy in oven. Five minutes outside gives you a beautiful golden color but seriously, don't dare to be more than five minutes outside or you will end up looking like a lobster!
The merciless sun will make sure to make your skin feel like its boiling.... not a pleasant feeling... is more like ouch, ooouch, ooooooch... hmmm, yeah... that describes it perfectly! The wind will feel hot too unless it comes from the north... well, at least in my island the wind always feels fresher when it comes from the north, if it comes from the south then we're screwed!
All the flowers in my yard looks like that flower, dried... Also some people looks like that Ha! So, how is the weather in your country? There are still places with snow... I wish I can get some cold here!

It sounds like a miserable time right now. We are getting warmer here, but nothing like your area. (All the snow is long gone. But I'm still writing about it...)
I used to spend time in Florida, and it was HOT there, not sure if as hot as yours, but bad enough. Like you say, going outside for long burned your skin off after awhile. I looked like an oddity, all dressed up to keep the sun off. But it works. Though it made it even HOTTER. Stay cool if you can. (Sorry I'm SO far behind on here. Been a busy weekend off the box, and now I'm catching up.)
Well, I look at the bright side, I have a nice tan ahahaha

I do remember getting a great tan there, as long as you planned ahead and did not stay out too long. If so, yowza, look out. Painful indeed.
And all of our snow has melted, and it's now raining. But I'm still putting out photos of it. Because I can, and also so folks can live vicariously through my winter works.
I like those pics, they are cool and the light makes snow way cooler!

well yeah but we're in North Texas so it's not humid, that's what wipes me out. Hey Blacklux check this out, someone sent this to me. lol!

Oh and I wanted to say about the weather here, it's only hot 3 months of the year, the rest of the year is
wonderful, we have the 4 seasons but very mild ones.
Here is hot 10 months a year.... the other 2 months are lovely but now I have to wait until December for that! Did you saw the hurricane projections of this year? 11 hurricanes and 6 storms they said... let's hope we get hurricane free this year!
no I didn't see that hurricane prediction, holy moly! Isn't that way more than normal?
Actually no, is always 6-15 hurricanes and 6-10 storms. Those are predictions, not always gonna be that exact number. If the weather is too hot them we're screw, hot weather plus hot ocean cooks big nasty hurricanes especially if they come from the south... Caribbean sea makes hurricanes stronger and those are the hurricanes you and me always get! Now if the hurricanes comes from the north (Atlantic ocean) we're safe cause if will head up... not a pretty news for New York and near states
