Rust, My Precious!
Oh rust, how much I love you! Its been a while since I posted rusty stuff. It was about time, oh yeah it was!! I was at the beach yesterday inspecting every single rock.... yeah, now I'm obsessed with stones... when I saw it... rusty, mah love!
There was several people there looking at me like if I was a crazy woman while I was looking every rock and taking pics of them and when I started to take pics of the rusty metal... eh... well... they just rolled their eyes on me and started to say I was insane. Fools! They know nothing about the beauty of taking pics of the coolest things you find! And I wasn't even delighting them with my photo yoga! Ha! This rusty finding is extra special cause as you can see there is a cotton thread rolled in the metal piece that is covered in rust too. So my best guess is that the cotton thread has been tied to the metal piece for a long time and both have endure all type of weather until they both ended covered in rust. Beautiful, right?! Nothing like a good old rusty thing to brighten your day!

@blacklux rust is something I loathe, rust ate the bed up on my truck, now I have a wooden bed on it. Rust is eating my boat trailer. When you live near the sea you will find lots of things rust.

i can totes identify with this, i do the same. rust, bark, textures in wood, stone, plaster . these are cool.

Rust is so awesome. It speaks to me of history and nature’s ability to reclaim what is hers.
My little one also surprised me recently when she noted that the red coming from sand we saw was most likely from an iron deposit.

Rust is so cool, and photogenic. And GORGEOUS. Being by the ocean, you must see tons of it. Old boats and such are a palette of beauty. And I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets 'the look', as I lay in the road photographing a smashed ice cream cone, or stand around taking photos of what to them just looks like a sign post or piece of dirt. They just don't see it, luckily we do. And I'm sticking with that.
Yeah! They are the ones that goes "oooh" and "wow" when they see the pics... maybe they think someone just staged the whole thing but nope, we were just doing photo yoga haaa
