Roadtrip in Norway - Through Lofoten to Narvik

Welcome to my first post on steemit.

A friend and I decided we had to take a trip to Lofoten in Norway. I wanted to capture the spectacular nature over there and my friend had no problems driving his car on our trip. We asked our significant others for a weekend off from them and our kids. They approved and off we went!

We drived from Trondheim up to Bodø. Then ferry over to Moskenes. We did this in one day, and the trip to Moskenes took around 14 hours including the ferry. And we are just starting...

We arrived at Moskenes around nighttime when the light was amazing!

It was late and we were tired after driving 13+ hours so we went to the hotel in Svolvær to get some sleep. The next day we drove down to Å. To the edge where the road stops. We used this day to capture photos of Lofoten while driving north to Narvik, and here are a handful of the shots:

The weather changed a little as we drove north. Quite windy.

It sounds like a cliché but this place has to be experienced by yourself. I have tried the best I can to capture the mood of the place when I was there through the photos and editing.

The weather cleared again

When we arrived in Narvik we stayed the night in a hotel and drove back to Trondheim the following day. Over 2000 km driving in one weekend is enough. But it was fun!
