Mary Lengees is caring for orphaned elephants at Reteti Elephant Sanctuary (@r.e.s.c.u.e) the first indigenous-owned and run elephant sanctuary in northern Kenya. Mary is one of the first indigenous Samburu women elephant keepers in all of Africa. The sanctuary is helping to change the lives of the people in the community as well as the animals under their care.
