The Hulk
I have done a lot of images of athletes and i will start sharing some of these on steemit along with nice girls next week. I will also continue sharing other type of photography as well.
This particular shot was done for my friend who has a line of sportswear. I thought i would create an analogy to Hulk and make him green as this guy was really big :)

Very unique - turned out well. Did you emphasize the veins or was that the way it was?
I did some selective sharpening with high pass filter with higher radius. The athlete was in competition state as well and they do short warm up to pump the blood just before the photoshoot. You also need to light from sides to create more contrast and shadows with hard light (smaller) diffusion. In this instance i lit from top, overhead single source, as face was known not to appear in the final image.

A person can have texture too, so that would be ok. People have skin texture too :)
Hahaha - yeahhh, I guess so... Silly me, was thinking of my usual textures of petals and wood, etc etc... Kinda horrifying when I realised the similarities I was drawing... lol. You're right - the skin texture here is fascinating too....
Yes, and if you are into retouching, you discover soon enough, different types of human skin texture in different parts of the face :)
