Bob Dylan's talents reach much further than being a successful singer and songwriter. He introduced his drawing talent to his audience by his self-designed book 'Writings and Drawings' of 1973. In that book he combined lyrics with full-page ink drawings.

Now his character studies 'Face Value' can be seen in Museum De Fundatie in Zwolle, the Netherlands. The series consist of 9 portraits: 3 female and 9 male studies.

The museum describes the drawings as "as direct and unpolished as his music" and "They testify, like his songs, of an inventive imagination."
