Tears of Rohingya

Sadness and tears when repatriating the remaining Rohingya and Bangladesh refugees in refugee camps in Gampong Birem Bayeun, East Aceh in November 2016.

They hugged each other when departed to Medan, North Sumatra as a temporary shelter and then they will be dispatched to third country, United States (US).

While in Aceh the Rohingyas have found long lost affection. While in Aceh the aid continued to arrive from Acehnese both from the community and school students.

The solidarity action against the Rohingya-controlled crisis in Rakhine, Myanmar continues to be voiced by various circles in Aceh, such as fundraising, theatrical action of ethnic Rohingya killings and denouncing Myanmar military and civilian actions that continue to commit crimes against Rohingyas.
