Pushkin Mountain. Manor Mikhailovskoye
July 2013 10 days of vacation. St. Petersburg is a beautiful city, but we live here. I want something new. We decided to go to Belarus by car. The road passed Pskov and Pushkin Mountain. In Pskov, we stopped to spend the night and wander around the city. At the same time visited Izborsk. But these are topics of individual stories. After Pskov, we set off further. We saw a turn of the road to the Pushkin mountains by chance. A visit to this place was not part of our plans initially. But who needs plans. We decided to call in.
While we were going there, it was raining, and upon arrival the sun appeared. The weather was getting better.
Pushkin Hills - a village located near the historic villages of Mikhailovsky, Trigorsky and Petrovsky.
These three places were of interest to us. We threw things into the hotel and went to the nearest estate - Mikhailovskoye.
Июль 2013 года. 10 дней отпуска. Санкт-Петербург город красивый, но мы здесь живём. Хочется чего-то нового. Решили отправиться на машине в Беларусь. Дорога проходила мимо Пскова и Пушкиногорья. В Пскове мы остановились переночевать и побродить по городу. Заодно посетили Изборск. Но это темы отдельных историй. После Пскова мы отправились дальше. Поворот дороги на Пушкинские горы мы увидели случайно. Их посещение не входило в наши планы изначально. Но кому нужны планы. Мы решили заехать.
Пока туда ехали, шёл дождь, а по приезде стало пявляться солнце. Распогодилось.
Пушкинские Горы – посёлок, расположенный вблизи исторических сел Михайловского, Тригорского и Петровского.
Эти три места нас и интересовали.Мы бросили вещи в гостинницу и отправились в самую ближнюю усадьбу - Михайловское.
Leaving the forest, you get on the asphalt with well-groomed territory around. It looks like an open air museum. But this is not the estate itself. You need to go through the spruce forest.
Выехав из леса, попадаешь на асфальт с ухоженной территорией вокруг. Похоже на музей под открытым небом. Но это не само имение. До него надо идти через еловый лес.
Last look at the lake. We delve into the forest and near the path we see an ancient stone cross. The inscription in the Old Slavonic language is no longer readable. This is a very old cross.

The forest itself is ordinary, for some reason I did not shoot it. Such a forest is everywhere in Russia in the taiga zone.
The path began to climb a little uphill
And here is Mikhailovsky. It really stands on a hill.
Сам лес обычный, почему-то я его не снимал. Такой лес есть везде в России в зоне тайги.
Тропа стала немного подниматься как бы в горку
А вот и Михайловское. Оно действительно стоит на возвышенности.
From here you can see part of the Sorot river bed.
To the left, it flows into the Velikaya River, in Pskov. And here, in Mikhailovsky, she strangely touches two lakes. The sun was starting to set. It was sunset time.
Отсюда видно часть русла реки Сороть.
В левую сторону она впадает в реку Великая, что во Пскове. А здесь, в Михайловском, она странным образом касается двух озёр. Солнце начинало садиться. Близилось время заката.
The north side of Mikhailovsky stretches
as if along the riverbed and slightly captures Lake Kuchane.
Sorot does not take its beginning in it.
Северная сторона Михайловского тянется
как бы вдоль русла реки и слегка захватывает озеро Кучане.
Сороть не берёт в нём своё начало.

On the other side of this lake you can see the Petrovsky estate. Abram Petrovich Hannibal lived there. We go there another time. And now we will go along the cobbled path, which going down a bit leads us to the eastern corner of the estate. We came to the falling spruce. She falls a very long time. When the craftsmen in Pisani built their famous tower, this spruce was taken as a prototype.
На другой стороне этого озера виднеется имение Петровское. Жил там Абрам Петрович Ганнибал.Туда мы сходим отдельно. А сейчас пройдём по мощёной тропе, которая спускаясь чуть вниз ведёт нас в восточный угол усадьбы. Мы пришли к падающей ели. Она очень давно падает. Когда в Пизани строили свою знаменитую башню, эту ель брали за прототип.
