Nice shot! You've got a beaut of a lens too, same one I use. If you're interested, check out some of my tips on astrophotography and add some tips of your own
Some of the sigma art series lenses are pretty good too. I actually had to get an MC-11 adapter for the canon mount so I can fit it on my sony, but you wouldn't even need to do that
That's gorgeous! I like how the Milky Way is aligned with the border of the yellow (or dry) trees.
Thanks, I feel like it gives a good perspective

I was looking at the Irix 15mm f/2.4 seems reasonable for what it can do
Haven't heard of Irix, I'll look into them for my next lens upgrade
Wowwww just amazing!! I recently figured out magic lantern so i hope to do more of this type of thing!!
Magic lantern is great for time lapse shots of the Milky Way not to mention all the other features.
Yep i'm loving the fact you can take whatever length exposure you would like! Not just canon's standard 30 seconds
Awesome shot I too like. How it is lined up with the bushes and nice to see the original as well
Thank you for the nice comment, I like to include the original for a comparison so people can decide if they like edits or not.
love the elaborated one, more clear, and with a cold tone, more suitable for astro photo.
I think so also, makes it pop a little more
Thank you
Nice editing!
Thanks
nice one! shutters speed?
This was a 25 second exposure
Did you follow the stars in somehow?
No need, it was under 30 seconds so no star trails
cool)
Nice post
Thanks
Nice! I love photography! Soon I will be making blog posts on my travel adventures here at Steem :)
