This is one of the final edits after playing around for a while trying to get the most detail in the Milky Way out of the photo.

Second shot in the series with a little darker edit, hardly noticeable but it is darker.

This is the original, as you can see its quite bright and you can not see the details in the Milky Way as well.

This one is slightly brighter and even more grainier begging for some serious editing or deletion, luckily I was able to make something of these shots.

Finally a couple shots combined from the time-lapse I was trying to get.

ever mess around with supplemental lighting of the foreground? We bought a computer controlled flash system for multiple flashes and then instead just started using our flash handheld for fill. Its easier than I thought it would be. Some plastic wrap from the flower shop really did manage to affect the light color surprisingly well.

Yes, you can do some amazing things with a long exposure and a basic flash light shined on an object for 2 seconds out of the 30 second exposure. I am looking at using a LED spotlight for lighting up the base of mountains, a pro astro photo guy gave and interesting presentation about them.

We tried some LEDs but the color always looked too blue. The peach wrap from the grocery store flower shop was a great color modifier, but really we mostly now just use our flash. Really we're going to get another couple TTL flashes and mount them to lighting stands. But mostly we do residential and the foreground isn't very big.

You ever cheat your camera head forward to simulate a tilt shift? Put the foreground into better focus? If so, the fill flash may be super fly.

Beautiful! Where have you been taking those pictures?

These particular photos are in Arizona

Really good work!
Doing some nature captures too, come take a look @dbeauhaire!!

Just checked out your latest post and left a comment, nice work

Thank you!!!

wish my night shots turned out this good lol

The key is getting as far away from the city as you can

i'll keep that in mind, i can usually never see anything in my night photos or the lights are just blurry lol

Maan this is not fake? :O STUNNING!!!

You are very talented with the camera!!

Yep this is real, I do edit them but I have also included my originals to compare with. Thanks for the compliment :)

Thank you for posting @azfix.

Lovely photographs of the Milky Way........just stunning and the time lapse is mesmerising.

This is your niche at Steemit.

Thanks @bleujay for reminding me why I joined Steemit, sometimes its easy to get off track.

Very nice work

Thanks, glad to see you being more active on Steemit!

Amazing night with wonderful Milky Way! I also like the trees, beautiful! Great work! ;)

p.s. These photos remind me to the old days since you joined Steemit!

Thanks @tangmo I am going to try and do many more dark sky photos.

Beautiful as always!!

Thanks man

cool effect

Beautiful I really wanna visit Arizona. That's amazing place I've ever seen.

Arizona is a pretty cool place, but do not tell everyone because we do not want the secret to get out. Its very hot here and we have a rainy season similar to Thailand. :)

Amazing shots @azfix 😊! Did you use a tripod? Thanks for visiting my blog 😍. I've followed you and checking yours out now 😉😀.

Yes, it would be nearly impossible to capture a long exposure like this without some sort of steady foundation. Glad you like the photos
