除草ヤギ2頭の名前の投票結果--Voting result of two heads of weeding goat
本日（2017年9月3日）に「メエメエ式」と題して、玄海田公園の除草ヤギ２頭の名前の投票結果の発表がありました。
Today (September 3, 2017) entitled "Mee Mee Ceremony", there was an announcement of the result of the voting of the names of two herbicidal goats in Genkaida Park.
１０時半から始まったのですが、小さな子供からお年寄りまでたくさんの人たちが集まっていました。
最初に２頭のヤギについての説明が係の人からありまして、初めて知ったことがありましたので紹介します。
It started from 10:30, but a lot of people gathered from small children to elderly people.
Firstly, there were explanations about two goats from the staff, so I introduced them because I knew for the first time.
２頭とも日本のヤギですが、赤い方は父母共にシバヤギのため、真っ白です。そして青い方はトカラヤギとシバヤギの子供のため、よーく見ると斑模様があります。そして特徴である前髪の差もこの親山羊によるものだそうです。
Both are Japanese goats, but the red one is completely white for both parents because of "Shiba yagi". And the blue one is for children of "Tokara yagi" and "Shiba yagi", there are spotted patterns when looking at them. And it seems that the difference in bangs that are features is also due to this parent goat.
名前の投票総数は１６９票と結構な数が投票されたようです。
名前の決め方は、一番多かった名前になるとのこと。
最初からこうなると思っていたと言っていましたが、結果は．．．
The total number of votes in the name was 169 votes and it seems that a pretty good number has been voted.
The name was decided to be the most common name.
I was told that I thought it would be this way from the beginning, but the result is. . .
「げん」君と「かい」君でした。
２頭合わせると「げんかい」ということで、この公園「玄海田（げんかいだ）公園」の語呂合わせに決まりました。
この名前を投票したという男の子が来ていましたので、その子が代表して２頭に名札を付けてあげました。
"Gen" and you "Kai" you.
Together, we decided to punish this park "Genkaida Park" by saying "Genkai".
The boy who had voted for this name was coming, so the child gave two badges on behalf of the boy.
少しずつテントの場所を移動しながら、これからも除草を続けていくということなので、今後も時々見に来ようと思います。
I will continue weeding while moving the place of the tent little by little, so I will come to see it from time to time.

ヤギ達は思った以上に地域で愛されていますね〜ww良い名前に決まって、よかったよかった^^
投票数が１６９票って、それだけでも驚きました。
皆ヤギ達の好きなんだなあって思いました。
この話を聞かせていた次女に「げんくん」と「かいくん」に決まったらしよと教えたら、一言、「ひねりなんもないなぁ～」とボソッと。
あんまりひねりすぎるとキラキラネームになっちゃうからこの辺りで妥協して良かったのではないでしょうか？
まあ、名前で呼んであげるのは小さな子供たちがほとんどでしょうから、これで良かったんじゃないですかねえ。

園長賞で、「あお」と「そら」で２頭合わせて「青空」というのも披露されました。２頭合わせてｘｘという発想がまったくなかったので、なるほどと思わされました。

でも、呼びやすい名前だし覚えやすい！
名前が付いたので、これからますます地域の人気者になりそうですね^^
今回の命名タイミングで、草が無くなった場所から移動して、遊具側の方にテントが移動したので、いままでその存在に気付かなかった人達の目にも触れやすくなっていると思います。
名前決まったんですね〜ずっと楽しみに待ってました^_^
げん君とかい君、公園にちなんだ名前だと忘れないですし、親しみがもてますね。
ようやく決まりました。ヤギ達の説明の中で、今後も雨が降っていないときは云々と言っていたのが気になります。なぜ、雨が降ると仕事が休みなのかとｗ
げん君とかい君、お名前が決まったんですね〜。益々親近感が湧きますね。
これからは、赤い方と青い方と呼ばなくてもよいので、親しみは増しました。
