Kulekhani is a beautiful and panoramic landscape situated in Makwanpur districti of nepal. Kulekhani is mainly famous for fishing, hiking, trekking and boating. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2972 people living in 535 individual households.[1]

Kulekhani is a Nepal city located at the longitude of 85.165325 and latitude of 27.569385 . The total distance between Kathmandu(capital city of nepal) and Kulekhani is 19 KM (kilometers) and 327.22 meters. Kathmandu is located nearly east side to Kulekhani.

It is famous for its beautifully constructed dam known as "kulekhani dam" .It is a rockfill Dam with inclined Core having height of around 114 m with Crest Length 397m and Crest Width 10m.Tt has a underground type powerhouse consisting of two turbines with 31,000 kw capacity.
