The Cabin in the Woods - Photo Series - #3
Here is the Third in a series of nature photos from our little adventure in Grand Rapids, MN.
A brightly colored maple leaf was nestled on a bed of brown fallen leaves. This reminded me a little of my story "The Gray" - the last line in the short story reads: "Be a bright beacon of color and wash the world in beauty - life’s too short to live life without color." The story speaks on how it is a good thing to stand out from the crowd. (Find the full short story here: https://steemit.com/writing/@artist1989/gray-short-story)
The little leaf was hidden beneath a bunch of ferns, but its bright coloring shined through the lush green foliage :)
This is only one of many little surprises that I photographed on our trip - Stay tuned for more nature photography!
