California Sunsets #29 – Surreal

We sensed something epic was about to happen seeing the patchy clouds form late afternoon. The recipe for potentially a great sunset. However, it was one of those times, a couple times a year, you just knew this was going to be special. And it was… This could have been multiple posts, however, it just needed to be one.
These photos were taken today (Saturday) just south of the Santa Monica Pier near Lifeguard Tower 24 and 25 in Ocean Park Santa Monica with the Malibu Mountains in the background.
Love that quote and is definitly true as shown in the beutiful photos! Keep up the photos!

How did I miss these shots! I remember this night, although the views were much different from LA. The first 3 are insane! and the last 2, I remember when it changed like that.
It was a magical sunset. I knew it was going to be unique before it stated as the wind dropped, low tide and the clouds were just right. And there were so many seagulls that night.
I noticed it when heading home. The first one could be an add for Santa Monica and the Pier! Insane. I will resteem.
