A Woman
I was walking appreciating the different landscapes of flowers in Miracle Garden Dubai when this work of art caught my attention. Across all beautiful designs that the place offers, this sculpture of a woman caught my emotional side. I'm a woman. No doubt to that. But this work of art proves that a woman always stands out even if she is surrounded by beautiful flowers. I dedicate this poem to all women and mothers out there who feel down.
She is a woman
Who gets stronger despite of the storms.
Who laughs even if she’s aching.
Bearing even if she’s hurting.
She is a woman
Who gives the love to the world.
A survivor and a lover
But she’s greater when she becomes a mother.
She is a woman
Who can do everything for her children.
Who sleeps lesser at night to be her child’s guide.
And becomes the best cook for her heir.
She is a woman,
She may be worn out physically
But her unfading beauty hides bottomless.
Please value her and love
Cuz there’s nothing more to ask.
